Fruit labels are more than identifiers — they’re an opportunity to engage and educate. As the lead designer for HLB, a major exporter of Latin American fruits, I helped create a visual solution that connects unfamiliar products with new markets.
Because tropical fruits like papaya are often perceived as exotic in the US and Europe, the labels needed to do more than simply name the fruit. By incorporating a ripeness indicator, we built an intuitive system that boosts consumer confidence and makes the product more accessible and appealing internationally.
